The Aurora Pro-Life Battle: St. Robert Bellarmine, Pray for us!

Today a federal judge will decide whether or not the City of Aurora can delay Planned Parenthood's scheduled opening Tuesday in order to complete the investigation into PP's dealings with the City ... According to the papers, the hearing is scheduled to be at 9:30 a.m. before Judge Charles R. Norgle, in Courtroom 2341 at the Dirksen Federal Building, 219 South Dearborn Street in Chicago (map) ... If you aren't able to make it in the morning, possibly you can come out in the afternoon ... Please join me at the Hearing in Chicago.
–Eric Scheidler, Communications Dir., Pro-Life Action League

Today is the feast day of St. Robert Bellarmine. St. Robert is the uncredited father of the American experiment—He believed that; authority originates with God, is vested in the people, who entrust it to fit rulers, which is as neat an expression of our founding precepts as any.

St. Robert Bellarmine, patron saint of canon lawyers, on this day when the Scheidlers and their lawyers go to court to fight the opening of Planned Parenthood in Aurora, Illinois, pray for us!
